How to join the team!
Interested in becoming a Roo Dancer?
We are so excited you have shown interest in our team! Below is an explanation of the 2 ways you can be apart of the KC Roos Dance Team!

Regular tryout process:
- Sign up and come to our tryouts in the spring. Tryouts are 1 day long and usually consist of 2 cuts, and an interview process. You will be expected to show off your technique and our fight song, which you will need to know prior to tryouts. We encourage all dancers to come to our clinics to get more information on the tryout process and learn our fight song with us!

Recruitment process:
- Come to a clinic!!! Clinic dates and times will be posted on our Instagram and a link will be in our bio to fill out.
AND/OR
- Email kcroosdanceteam@gmail.com. From here, you will need to send in dance videos or Coach Brit will need to see you dance in-person. This will lead to an interview to get to know you, then a potential offer if you seem fit for the team.

We have girls on the team who have done both types of processes and there isn't one that is better than the other. If you go through the recruitment process and are offered a spot, you will still be required to come and participate in tryouts.
